By participating in the Paddle Spot meet-up event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  2. Safety Equipment Requirements To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, all participants must adhere to the mandatory safety equipment requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing appropriate buoyancy aids, leashes, and any other safety gear recommended for the specific paddle sport you choose to engage in during the event. Failure to comply with safety equipment requirements may result in the denial of participation.

Paddle Spot and its organisers will strive to provide information and guidance regarding current conditions, but participants are ultimately responsible for making their own decisions regarding their participation based on their assessment of the conditions and their individual skill level.
  4. Personal Belongings and Equipment Paddle Spot and its organisers are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings or equipment brought to the event. Participants are advised to secure their belongings appropriately and ensure the safety of their equipment.
  5. Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations Participants are required to comply with all applicable local laws, rules, and regulations related to paddle sports, including any navigational or waterway regulations. Paddle Spot and its organisers will not be held liable for any violations or consequences arising from non-compliance.
  6. Photography and Media Release Please be aware that during the event, photographs or videos may be taken for promotional or documentation purposes. By participating in the event, you grant Paddle Spot the permission to use such media for marketing, promotional, and informational materials without any compensation.
